Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

Scope of the Policy and the Products or Services It Covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all transactions conducted through showbuzzly for access to Course A show and entertainment coverage resources. These resources include event updates, studio segments, camera setup guidance, lighting instructions, and organised workflows for digital media production. The policy governs purchases of digital subscriptions, one-time access passes, and related service packages offered to customers in the United Kingdom. It covers every stage from initial payment through to potential refunds and does not extend to third-party services or physical goods.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes, and Any Additional Charges

All listed prices are in British Pounds Sterling. Value Added Tax at the prevailing UK rate is included where applicable for consumers. Additional charges may arise from currency conversion fees imposed by your payment provider or from optional add-ons such as extended access periods. showbuzzly does not levy hidden fees but reserves the right to adjust prices for future purchases in line with market conditions. Customers are shown the total amount due before authorisation.

Accepted Payment Methods, Payment Authorisation, and Payment Security

Payments are accepted via major credit and debit cards processed through secure gateways compliant with UK financial regulations. Authorisation occurs instantly upon submission and may involve verification steps such as 3D Secure. All transactions employ encryption standards to protect card details. showbuzzly does not store payment information beyond what is necessary for processing and fraud prevention under the Data Protection Act 2018.

Order, Booking, or Service Confirmation and When a Contract Is Formed

Upon successful payment an order confirmation email is sent to the address provided. The contract between you and showbuzzly is formed at the moment payment is authorised and the confirmation is issued. Access credentials or digital content links are delivered immediately thereafter, marking the start of the service period. No binding agreement exists prior to this confirmation.

Cancellation Rights and Applicable Cancellation Periods

Under UK consumer law you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase during which you may cancel without providing a reason. For digital content the right to cancel ends once download or streaming begins if you have given prior consent to immediate supply. Cancellations must be notified in writing via the contact form on the Contacts page. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time but will continue until the end of the paid period unless the cooling-off right applies.

Refund Eligibility, Exclusions, and Non-Refundable Items or Services

Refunds are available for unused digital access within the cooling-off period provided no substantial content has been consumed. Exclusions apply to any portion of the service already delivered, promotional bundles, or customised workflows. Non-refundable items include partially viewed studio segments or downloaded camera setup materials. Eligibility is assessed case by case in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

The Step-by-Step Procedure and Information Required to Request a Refund

To request a refund submit a message through the contact form on the Contacts page including your order reference, date of purchase, and reason for the request. Provide the email address associated with the account. Incomplete requests may be returned for additional details. Requests received outside the applicable period will not be considered.

Inspection, Approval, Rejection, and Notification of the Refund Decision

Each request is reviewed within 10 working days. You will receive notification of approval or rejection via email. If rejected the reasons will be explained clearly. Approved refunds proceed to processing while rejected cases may be appealed once with supplementary evidence.

Refund Method, Processing Time, and When Funds Should Reach the Customer

Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing typically completes within 5 to 10 working days after approval though bank processing may extend this to 14 days. You will be informed when the refund has been issued. No cash or alternative method refunds are offered.

Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions, Services, or Promotional Offers Where Relevant

Digital content such as event updates and lighting tutorials is supplied immediately upon purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Promotional offers are subject to the same cooling-off rules unless the offer explicitly states otherwise. Once content is accessed the cancellation right is lost for that portion.

Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks, and Suspected Fraud

Failed payments must be retried or resolved within seven days to maintain access. Duplicate charges are investigated promptly and corrected by refund where verified. Chargebacks are treated as disputes and may result in service suspension pending resolution. Suspected fraudulent activity leads to immediate account review and possible referral to authorities under UK law.

Mandatory Consumer Rights in the Target Country That the Policy Cannot Exclude

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, UK GDPR, or the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. These include rights to receive services with reasonable care and skill and to remedies for faulty digital content. Any term attempting to exclude these rights is void.
